ScholarshipsPTA Scholarships available for graduating high school seniors in the Class of 2013!
Did you know that all Torrance School PTAs in Torrance, plus the Torrance Council of PTAs, give scholarships to graduating seniors?
These scholarships acknowledge the efforts and achievements of high school seniors and provide an incentive and financial support for students to continue their education at an accredited college, university, community college, trade or technical school. PTA seeks to honor service in the community and achievements in academics. There is no minimum grade point average requirement for applicants.
Each applicant must be a member of his/her high school PTSA. A copy of the applicant’s current PTSA membership card must be submitted with the application.
Each applicant must fill out the TUSD 2012 – 2013 Local Scholarship Application form and turn it in to his/her high school counselor. Applications will be sent to the Torrance elementary, middle, and high school that the applicant matriculated from as well as the Torrance Council of PTAs for their consideration.
