Annual TUSD College & Career Fair
Torrance, CA - On Saturday, May 21, 2022, students and parents are invited to attend the TUSD College & Career Fair at Torrance High School. Students and parents will have the chance to learn about various colleges and universities in California as well as from around the nation.
The College & Career Fair is an annual event sponsored in collaboration by the Torrance Unified School District, Torrance Council of PTAs, and the PTAs at North, South, Torrance, and West High Schools. The purpose of the College & Career Fair is to assist students as they navigate through the various steps towards their higher education goals. This event provides students and parents the opportunity to speak to representatives from a variety of schools, including community colleges, vocational programs, state colleges and universities, private schools, and Ivy League universities.
The College & Career Fair also provides students and parents the opportunity to participate in workshops that cover a wide range of topics including college admission processes, college entrance exam preparation, scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and alternative short-term training for rewarding careers. TUSD counselors and college-career counseling coordinators will also be available to answer questions. All students are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this event. It is never too early to begin thinking about college and explore what options will help students reach their future educational goals.
The College & Career Fair is free and open to the public, and will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Torrance High School gym. Torrance High School is located at 2200 West Carson Street, Torrance, California 90501. Parking is available near the front of the school in the lot on Martina Avenue, and across the street from the back of the school in the lot on Plaza del Amo.
