If you are a member of aTorrance PTA and would like to submit a straw ballot for Torrance Council of PTAs 2023-2024 Election, please fill out the google form below.
Your suggestions will be helpful to the nominating committee in making selections for nominations for next year's Board of Directors. Please remember this is only a STRAW VOTE and is NOT BINDING. It serves as a way to help the nominating committee in its deliberations.
If you are interested in serving, this is a great way to let the committee know.

What type of experience is needed?
Ideal candidates are PTA leaders who have had some experience with serving on or leading PTA at the unit level.
Training is available. The Council is a collaborative, supportive group comprised of a mix of seasoned PTA leaders and newer PTA leaders.
When are board meetings held?
The board of directors meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month during the school year. Meetings run from 9:30 am - noon and are in-person.
Board members also participate in the monthly executive board meetings, which are held on the first Wednesday of the month during the school year. Meetings run from 9:30 am - 11:30 am and are hybrid.
